Hi!
This is just my personal blog, a place to put my hobby projects I work on to hopefully get in the habit of documenting them. The idea came from a friend, who often wanted to see the details of whatever project I’d been working on but had to settle for my off-the-cuff explanations and the occasional picture. Hopefully by making these projects public someone else may be able to learn from my (many, many) mistakes.
With that said, let me point out that I am not an electrical engineer or licensed electrician, nothing I post on this blog should be taken as engineering advice and especially not as advice on engineering safety. I’ve been tinkering with electronics since I was a kid and by now I am pretty good at not electrocuting myself, but any advice, project plans or any other information you get from this site is done entirely at your own risk. I am not responsible or liable for anything you do as a result of reading this web site. Electricity is deadly if handled improperly and will kill you in an instant. If you are not absolutely sure that what you are doing is safe, consult a certified electrical engineer or licensed electrician for help. I am not either of these things. In fact, if you see me doing something in a bad way, an unsafe way or just in a dumb way, please feel free to contact me and let me know!
